Double Page Spread Photos
These four photos are the main photos for my double page spread, they will be on the top of the pages.
I like all these photos because they are all individual ones of each member of Chase The Lies and their all medium close up of the boys with their instruments so you can see what each member plays, the only thing I do not like about these photos are the background.
These are the secondary photos I will be using throughout the page to break up the text, making it more interesting.
I like all these photos because you get to see what happens behind the recording scene and see the boys get down to reality and hard working on their album, again I do not like the background but the lighting is very good for the photos and I like the quality they have.
Contents Page photo analysis
Again this is the same as the photo on my front cover. I chose to put this photo on the contents as it is a main feature.
I like this photo because of how Sean is leaning across the fans, I chose this photo for my contents because it is an effective photograph and another live event photograph making it fun and distract it from the story of the lead singer almost dying. I also like how Gavin is in the background still singing showing its in the middle of a set.
This photo I really like because it's Sam having a bit of a laugh on the drums bringing a sort of humor to the photograph and to the story behind the image, however I do not like the background it is distracting. When this photo was taken Sam was actually trying to annoy the drummer Greg by playing on his drum set so I took this photo to bring some humor to the story.
Photo Analysis Front Cover
These are the photos I have used for my front cover.
Main Storyline!
I chose this photo as my main image for my magazine because of Tony playing his guitar, this relates to the main headline story. For my front cover I will cut him out and paste him onto a plain background and put the text around him. I do not like the background though because it is a bit messy and distracts from the main image. His story is 'The Trust Has Gone Away'.
Secondary Stories!
I like this photo because it is a live event and I like how the lead singer is singing like his deep in thought, I like this because you get the background of the backdrop and some of the drums and amps in the background behind the lead singer. The audience would like to see a live event photo of a well known singer. His story is 'I Could Have Died!'
Another live event photograph of a group performing, their story is 'Vest Of Parrot Arrive!'. I like this photo because of the lighting and how the boys are set out playing, however I do not like how the drum set are almost covering Tom and Josh is blurred.
I really like this photo of Lostprophets guitarist Lee Gaze because of the way he is standing on the stage close to the camera while playing a solo, I like how the background is dark and mixes in the with the live event, he is lightly lit to make him stand out from the dark background from the concert. His story is 'Lostprophets Return To Cambridge!'
And finally my final photo for my front page, I like this photo because of the mixture of colours in the background, again it is another live event photograph on a halloween special, the lead singer Laurence Rene shirtless with wings on his shoulders. I like how the audience are in the photo to grab the readers attention more. Their story is 'Halloween Passion'.
Main Story Idea's
The Trust Has Gone Away
I came up with this idea because for this story is about a band splitting up after a nice couple years of touring, 'The Trust Has Gone Away' was a lyric from one of the bands songs called 'Betrayed' which I thought was very good because it was a way of showing what caused the band to split. The audience would find out from this story the background of the group and the reason for the split.
We're back and bad!
This story was for a band who got a break but now making a comeback with a bang, the audience would find out what Vest Of Parrot got up to on their break and the reason for the break and why they are back with new material.
One Shot From Death!
This story would be about a lead singer who almost had a brush with death after being caught in a major car crash, it would be an interview about what happened, how he felt during and after the incident, the audience would be able to read what happened to the lead singer and also what is next for him once he fully recovers.

Magazine Name Idea's
- V10
- Axe
- Louder
V10
I came up with this idea for my magazine because I think that it would go very well with the genre of my magazine. The idea behind this name is because 10 is the loudest on the amp's that bands use in concerts, I thought this was very good idea because it is unique.
Axe
I came up with this idea because Axe is related to some genres of rock, its catchy and very easy to remember and mixes in with the genre of the magazine. However I think this would not attract my target audience as much because some of the audience might relate it to very heavy metal/death metal music.
Louder
I came up with this idea for my magazine name because Louder means that the music can go louder which means it is in progression, it relates to music and is used a lot in phrases however, I do not think that this would attract my target audience as much.
My Final Magazine Name
V10
